Ably Resources are working alongside a leading international oilfield services company to source an experienced Group QHSE Manager. They are a large multinational and multisite company.
This is a permanent/staff based requirement for an experienced Group QHSE Manager to be based in Aberdeen. A brilliant opportunity to work within an international oilfield services company as the single point of authority for QHSE.
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
-NEBOSH diploma/ degree qualified in an occupational health and safety related discipline
-Experienced managing a multisite team, ideally in several countries/locations.
-Lead auditor certificate with relevant auditing experience
-Experienced in developing and implementing management systems across ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001
-A background in the oil and gas industry
-Able to communicate from top level management through to workshop personnel.
-Able to travel as this would be associated with the role
-Excellent organisational skills
Responsibilities:
1.Develop company QHSE strategy on a global level
2.Promote best practices which may involve training of personnel at all levels
3.Review of QHSE performance across the company
4.Collaborate with multiple sites' QHSE personnel and senior management to ensure continued compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 in order to achieve accreditation across all three standards.
5.Maintain and develop existing Integrated management system
6.Mitigation of risk from a QHSE perspective
7.Develop QHSE procedures including emergency response,
8.QHSE focal point interfacing with internal company personnel and external regulatory authorities
