Job Description:

Amec Foster Wheeler is looking for an Administrator to join the HR Admin team in Reading on a 6 month fixed term contract, within the HR Department.

The Admin team provide admin support for designated departments within the organisation, working with the other groups within the HR Department to complete the administration of all aspects of an employee's lifecycle.

The Admin team also provide admin support on certain tasks to some of the other groups in the HR Department.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain various HR systems
  • Maintain employee records & prepare letters for all employment changes throughout employee lifecycle
  • Job offer administration through to probation stage
  • Provide Administrative support to other groups in HR
  • Provide guidance in all HR admin processes to employees and the organisation
  • Ensure all relevant processes and procedures are dealt within a compliant manner
  • ‚ÄčAssist with general administration for the HR Department

Job Requirements:

Skills / Qualifications

  • Previous administration experience (preferably in a HR environment, however this is not essential)
  • Strong team player
  • Good attention to detail
  • Proactive approach and ability to use your own initiative
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Highly competent on Microsoft packages (Word and Excel)
