Amec Foster Wheeler is currently recruiting for a Accounts Payable Administrator to provide support to our Europe Finance Shared Services department on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Head of Accounts Payable and Expenses, the Administrator will be a key part in delivery of an effective service for multiple operating companies. They will adhere to a robust service level agreement as well as related performance KPIs between the EFSS and internal customers, by providing an administrative service to the Accounts Payable section.

This role will be recruited on an agency basis for 6 months. ASAP start date

Aims & Objectives

  • To ensure compliance with all audit requirements
  • Ensure that the high volumes of financial transactions and documents are prepared and processed in line with the department's Service Level Agreements

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Dealing with incoming post and returning to vendor process
  • To register, scan, process and store inbound documents/expense claims and subcontractor certificates received by the team
  • Reconciliation of the bar code report to various systems
  • Filing and archiving for Accounts Payable documents
  • Checking amendments/additions to vendor master data
  • Working with the business to ensure the DAS approval forms are up to date
  • Query management and responding to the EFSS mail boxes for Accounts Payable

Experience required

  • Experienced in administrative tasks
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
  • Good understanding of scanning
  • Confident in the use of Excel
  • An excellent team player
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Be organised and proactive
