Amec Foster Wheeler are currently recruiting 5 Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineers to be based initially in our Reading office with business trips to Oman to support the commissioning phase of a major refinery project

We require Senior Control and Instrumentation to support our client in the commissioning and start-up / troubleshooting of main control systems and overall field instrumentation

  • Experience in control systems (DCS, SIS, FGS)
  • Experience in all types of field instrumentation including valves and analyser systems
  • Extensive site based experience supporting construction and commissioning
  • On site management of vendors
  • Field material requisitions
  • Control of as-built drawings
  • Responding to site technical queries and issuing site instructions to contractors
  • Experience with a contractor, operator or consultancy on refinery, petrochemical or oil & gas projects
  • Flexible attitude, with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate within Microsoft Office
  • Candidate shall be degree qualified or have equivalent qualifications and experience
