Global oil and gas services company, Petrofac, has confirmed Monday (14th), that it has secured approximately US$400 million worth of work around the UK continental shelf.
Speaking on the contracts, the London based firm said that one contract it has secured is, a 2 year extension, with Centrica on the firms North Sea Rough field. The Centrica contract is due to start in January 2016.
Petrofac also announced that it has secured a five year extension with EnQuest for work on the North Sea Kittiwake platform. The contract sees Petrofac supplying Facilities Management, where it acts as the platform’s Duty Holder.
Commenting on the news, Petrofac Offshore Operations MD, Walter Thain, said: “We’ve enjoyed productive and long-standing relationships with our customers in the UKCS and these contracts are a great demonstration of how we can continue to work in partnership to efficiently deliver in line with their individual business and operational needs and our own standards.”
Petrofac is listed on the London Stock Exchange. It currently employes over 20,000 employees, across 29 countries, servicing the global offshore oil and gas industry.
