Choke Manifold

The Choke Manifold is a manifold of high pressure valves, allowing the system fluid running through it to be choked if needed.

Typically the manifold will include two main choke valves, allowing one to be closed for maintenance if needed, yet still allowing the system fluid to flow and operate in much the same way as all process pipework.

When used, the term Choke Manifold is often referring to the Choke Manifold used to control Drilling Fluids.  This Choke Manifold will typically sit to one side of the Drill Floor, with a separate Kill Manifold opposite
