Description

Overview

Orca is an Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTS), owned and operated by Bourbon Offshore, flying a Norwegian flag.

She was delivered in 2006 by Ulstein Verft, Norway, and was the first vessel to have the revolutionary X-Box design.

 

Design & Capabilities

Primarily an anchor handler, Orca has also been designed to:

  • Conduct subsea operations including ROV and precisian subsea lifting.
  • Transportation of pripe and cement to pipe lay  & drilling vessels.
  • Oil recovery operations.

Orca has a deck area of 548 m2, and capacity to hold liquid mud (530 m3), dry bulk (254 m3) , base oil (447 m3) , brine (558 m3) and fresh water(503 m3)      

She has accommodation for 34.
