Tanjung Offshore, the Malaysian based offshore services company, has secured a contract with Malaysian based oil and gas major Petronas for RM250 million (£43m / US$66.8).
The deal between Petronas and Tanjung Offshore, is for topside maintenance to Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd’s platforms offshore Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo.
It is understood that the contract also includes further maintenance work to Petronas operated onshore facilities, also in Sarawak state.
The signed contract is to last for two years, however an option for a further third year is in place.
Malaysian Tanjung Offshore, was incorporated in 2004, and now holds contract with multiple oil majors and offshore EP companies. As well as providing general offshore maintenance and support, Tanjung Offshore also provides specialist services including gas generation, umbilical subsea cables, marine pumps and nitrogen gas generation.
