What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to?keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

General Terms of Use 

These General Terms of Use (“General Terms of Use”), state how all User(s) may interact with and use Offshore Post and its services.  Your acceptance of these Terms forms a binding contract (the "Agreement") between you and Offshore Post Ltd ("Offshore Post”, “us' or “we”).

Your User Account 

To be able to use the full range of Offshore Post services and to be able to post or publish content on offshorepost.com you will need to sign up for a free user account.

A user account will allow you to post article comments, add and edit  articles in RigOpedia including rating, fully use the offshore post job board services and access user services in My OP.

You will be required to supply your email address, a user name and a password. 

You are solely responsible for the security of your password and account.

You the account holder is solely responsible for all content published from your account. 

Offshore Post will not be responsible for the loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above.  

Social Media Sign In.
If you access Offshore Post through a social networking site, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn  or Google+ ("Social Networking Site"), you agree to allow us to access, make available, and store any information, data, text and/or any other materials accessible through Offshore Post that you have provided to and stored in your Social Networking Site account, so that we can make it available on and through Offshore Post via your account and your profile page.

Your Conduct
By using offshorepost.com and it services, you agree to conduct yourself in accordance of all UK and local laws.

Furthermore, you agree not to:

  • Use offshorepost.com as a means to cause harm to others by abuse, racism, bigotry, intimidation, bullying or harassment in any way.
  • Copy, reproduce or sell any content from offshorepost.com.
  • Solicit, advertise or promote any company, goods or post back-links to any website without; a verified business account, in any place other than the business directory and without prior consent from us.
  • Introduce any service, software or any automated means (scrapers, spiders, harvesting bots).
  • Upload any malicious code or virus.
  • Access any user account not belonging to you.
  • Cause harm to Offshore Post, third parties or its users in any way. 

Review and commenting 

By holding an account with us, you are entitled to post comment on articles, upload articles and media, and review.  By holding an account and by interacting with offshorepost.com through any of the above you agree not to:

  • Post any content you know to be untrue.
  • Post any content that could libel or defame anyone or any entity.
  • Post any content that you do not own or have the rights to.
  • Post any content for the purpose of business or self gain.
  • Post any back-links to any website.
  • Post any content that is private including any personal account information.
  • Imply that Offshore Post agrees with or endorses your opinion or you in anyway.

Offshore Post reserves the right to remove any posts or content without notice, that we believe does not comply with these terms, or may cause harm to us, a third party business or any user.

Ownership of Your Content 
You grant Offshore Post a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and distribute all content you upload to offshorepost.com, including text, images and video.

Limitation of Liability 
You assume full responsibility for any loss that results from your use of the offshorepost.com and the services of Offshore Post Ltd, including any downloads from offshorepost.com. Offshore Post Ltd and our employees won’t be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, or consequential damages under any circumstances, even if they’re based on negligence or we’ve been advised of the possibility of those damages.

Trademarks and Copyright 
All content products and services available on offshorepost.com are protected by copyrights, trademarks and international treaties. You agree to abide by all applicable proprietary rights laws and other laws.

Indemnification 
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us, our partners and employees, harmless from any losses, liability, claim, or demand, including legal fees, made by any third party, resulting from the use by you or anyone, of your account, offshorepost.com or any of our related services, due to unlawful behaviour or behaviour deem to be breaking these Terms. 

Business User Terms

These Business Terms of Use (the “ Business Terms of Use") as well as Offshore Post's General Terms of Use (“General Terms of Use”), state how Business User(s) may interact with and use Offshore Post and its services. Your acceptance of these Terms forms a binding contract (the "Agreement") between you and Offshore Post Ltd ("Offshore Post" or "us') that applies to this transaction.

Business Account
To become an Offshore Post business user you will need to sign up for a free business account.

A fully verified business account will allow you, on behalf of your company, your employing company or entity for which you have written permission,  to post and publish business content on both the Offshore Post Business Directory and the Offshore Post Job Board.

You will be required to supply yours and your company’s details, including an email address that contains the company’s domain.  We will use this email address as part of our verification process.

You the account holder is solely responsible for all content published from your account. 

Job Board

Payment 
Prices for job listing products and and their descriptions are on our website and may be changed at any time.  All prices are correct at the time of purchase. 

All prices exclude UK VAT.  Business based outside of the UK and listing jobs where work will be conducted outside the UK may be exempt from UK VAT.  In these circumstances, local tax rules will apply.

Payment for job listings purchased through the website are payable immediately and must be paid before the job listing will appear on the website. 

Payment for subscription based products are payable within 28 days from invoice date.  Any late payments of invoices will result in accounts and services being suspended.  This will entitle us to remove all content listed via the account from the website until payment has been made.

Late payments will result in a 3% let payment charge. levied on the cost of the unpaid invoice. 

Refunds
All fees and charges are strictly nonrefundable.  No refunds will be made for any products that have been partially used or unused (job listing or CV views), or expired products (products that have not been used within the stated time) regardless or circumstances. 

No refunds will be made for listings removed by us for not complying with these terms.

Listing Jobs
You may only publish job listings for your company, your employing company or entity for which you have written permission. You must ensure you have written permission to use all logos and any third part content used in your job listing.

Job listings must be lawful, truthful and honest.  Job listings and work advertised must comply with all laws of employment of the local authorities where the work is to be conducted.

Job listings must not be discriminatory on the basis of race, gender, age or sexual orientation.

Job listings must not require any up front fees from applicant(s) or any payments from the applicant(s) to the account holder listing the job post or any company involved in the employment at any time during successful employment. 

The listing will be displayed on Offshore Post’s job board offshorepost.com/jobs for the length of time and in the manner stated in the description of the purchased product.

You are able to make changes to your listed job posts at anytime before and during its listing by logging into your business account. 

All Job listings expire automatically on the expiration date as stated in the product description. Offshore Post reserves all rights to remove any posting at any time, with or without cause.

Offshore Post reserves the right to remove any listings without notice, that we believe do not comply with these terms, or may cause harm to us, a third party business or any job seeker.

CV Database
Access to the Offshore Post CV database is via products purchased in the job board.  These products differ and allow varying degrees and amounts of CV database interaction.  Prices for CV database products and and their descriptions are posted on our website and may be changed at any time.  All prices are correct at the time of purchase.

All information available through the CV database is exclusively for the use of sourcing the best candidate for the job posts you have listed. 

No CVs from the database or any information contained in them can be sold, reproduced or copied for anyone outside of your company or organisation.

The contact of individuals via CV database information must only be for employment reasons.

You must, at all times, comply with the UK’s Data Protection Act 1998 and any data protection laws of you or your company’s local jurisdiction.

Business Directory
You may, with a verified business account submit a listing to the Offshore Post Business Directory.  Basic listing is free.  Paid listings are also available.  Prices for business directory products and and their descriptions are posted on our website and may be changed at any time.  All prices are correct at the time of purchase.

You may only submit directory listings for your company, your employing company or entity for which you have written permission. You must ensure you have written permission to use all logos and any third part content used in your directory listing.

You can only submit one listing per business account.

Listings are only for business engaged in activities within the offshore energy industry and which correspond to your verified business account and account email address.

You can submit full company contact details including one URL link to you company website.  The URL must be input into the correct field along with the contact information.  No further links must be included in your listing.

You agree that all content uploaded by you to your business listing will not:

Include any written content, images or video that contains or promotes anything that could be considered as racist, bigoted, or hatred towards others.

Contains any virus, corrupt files or another material that will do physical harm to Offshore Post, its users or any third party.

Contain anything of a sexual nature.

Contain any unlawful, misleading or inaccurate information about your services or products.

Offshore Post reserves the right to remove any listings without notice, that we believe does not comply with these terms, or may cause harm to us, any user or third party business.

Ownership of Your Content
You grant Offshore Post a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and distribute all content you upload to offshorepost.com. You also grant Offshore Post a non-exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to use the name and trademark of your company or organisation digitally and in print for Offshore Post advertising, marketing and promotion.

Limitation of Liability
Offshore Post does not guarantee the results of any job listing.  We will not be liable to you for any amount exceeding the amount your paid for the individual listing. You assume full responsibility for any loss that results from your use of the Website offshorepost.com and the Services of Offshore Post Ltd, including any downloads from the Website. Offshore Post Ltd and our employees won’t be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, or consequential damages under any circumstances.  even if they’re based on negligence or we’ve been advised of the possibility of those damages.

No Endorsement
We, by allowing you to post content on our website, are not endorsing you, your companies or you products. You are not to use Offshore Post in any way to or imply that we have endorsed you, your company or your products in any way.
