Wood Group Wins Extension To Chevron North Sea

Wood Group wins extension to Chevron North Sea contract, that will see them continue to work offshore for the oil and gas major.

Wood Group announced the news saying the extension would secure offshore jobs for at least a further year for both maintaining and operations positions.

The contract will see Wood Group supply its services to Chevron’s UK assets:  Alba Northern platform; Alba floating storage unit; Captain wellhead protector platform; and the Captain FPSO.

UK based Wood Group added that this latest win effective immediately would, be managed through its Wood Group PSN brand and, complement the group’s growing number of contracts with Chevron.

Most recently through its Wood Group Kenny arm, the group has supplied subsea engineering services to the Chevron’s Captain Enhanced Oil Recovery Project, with particular focus on subsea engineering of trees, wellheads, controls and polymer injection flowlines.
